WHAT WE DO

BRIDGES for Health stands for Bringing Resources Internationally and Domestically Guiding Educational Services.  

BRIDGES is a nonprofit that brings medical volunteers around the world to serve in free medical clinics and help strengthen communities at risk to support better healthcare services. 

​We also provide online educational courses to bridge the knowledge and skill gaps for healthcare professionals. Many courses offer continuing education credits!

WHO WE ARE

We are a group of medical professionals gathering teams of nurses, students, and allied health professionals. Over the past decade, our teams have brought medical services to 10 countries to enrich the lives of both the givers and receivers. 

Past mission teams have served in: Belize, Peru, Costa Rica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, China, Tanzania Africa, and India.

Our Team

Founder:
Tracey Long 
PhD, RN, APRN-BC

Dr. Long fell in love with medical mission work when she served 18 months as a volunteer health missionary to Colombia, South America 35 years ago. She vowed she would bring nurses and nursing students to communities at risk and help strengthen the health of our communities, one person at a time.

Ramona Panter

Dr. Panter, DNP, RN, serves as the faculty advisor of a nursing college chapter of BRIDGES at the College of Southern Nevada preparing students to serve and expand their nursing skills. She has served in Mexico and China. ​

Larry Long

​Originally the chief luggage carrier, Larry is our supportive leader in finances and logistics. He officially serves as the team Dad. ​

Jamerson Holloway

Jamerson PhD, RN is a medical mission enthusiast and has served many medical missions where his suitcase never can hold as much room as the love he brings and returns home with.
