What do we do?

We do home visits, community hospital work, and offer free general medicine clinics. You’ll learn about tropical medicine and pharmacology, public health, and rural medicine.

Each trip price includes lodging, in-country transportation, training, medical supplies, 2 meals/day and 30 nursing continuing education credits. Airfare is not included.

How do I register for a medical mission?

Register for a medical mission by enrolling in the corresponding course and paying the fee. The initial non-refundable payment of $95 secures your place on the team and is applied to the total balance. Payments plans are available - 50% of the trip fee must be paid at least 60 days before departure. Any remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip.

How do I prepare for a medical mission?

Included in your medical mission fee is access to a course "How to Prepare for a Successful Medical Mission" which will tell you everything you need to know! Each team will also have at least two Zoom meetings to discuss further details.

Some words from our awesome volunteers

I'm so grateful I was able to serve with BRIDGES. The experience changed my life and my perspective towards others. I was feeling burned out but this trip reminded me why I went into healthcare to begin with and restored my energy and purpose.
