Medical Missions
For each mission medical volunteers will perform house visits in selected communities of need, offer free medical clinics, work with community health workers, engage in global health projects, and receive training in cultural competence, medical spanish, tropical diseases, and more!

Who is eligible to go on a medical mission?
Nurses, healthcare professionals, and students in the healthcare field are all invited to join a medical team. Friends and family members over the age of 18 who are willing to be trained may also join the team.
What do we do?
We do home visits, community hospital work, and offer free general medicine clinics. You’ll learn about tropical medicine and pharmacology, public health, and rural medicine.
What all is included in the price?
Each trip price includes lodging, in-country transportation, training, medical supplies, 2 meals/day and 30 nursing continuing education credits. Airfare is not included.
How do I register for a medical mission?
Register for a medical mission by enrolling in the corresponding course and paying the fee. The initial non-refundable payment of $95 secures your place on the team and is applied to the total balance. Payments plans are available - 50% of the trip fee must be paid at least 60 days before departure. Any remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip.
How do I prepare for a medical mission?
Included in your medical mission fee is access to a course "How to Prepare for a Successful Medical Mission" which will tell you everything you need to know! Each team will also have at least two Zoom meetings to discuss further details.
